Event Summary
The Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities, the G20 Interfaith Forum Association and the Baha'i International Community jointly organized a forum in support of India’s G20 presidency in New Delhi, The convening built on the December meeting in Abu Dhabi which identified leading issues for the 2023 agenda combined with reflections on the G20 Interfaith Forum’s journey since 2014 to engage with global agendas through the G20 process.
The Forum was curated around the theme of the Indian G20 Presidency – One Earth, One Family, One Future.
The Forum convened a group of deeply engaged leaders focused on the religious dimensions of global debates, from current socio-economic crises through to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda, highlighting tangible action steps for the G20 process.
The Forum was attended by 150 senior faith leaders, representatives of faith-based organizations, government officials, international organizations and civil society, and academics.
